Thibault Tassin

Located in the heart of the Côte des Bar region, Domaine Champagne Tassin is a family-run business whose history dates back to the late 18th century. Renowned for its traditional know-how, the house has seen several generations succeed one another, each bringing its own contribution to the edifice. It was in the 1920s that Émile Tassin, a visionary pioneer, decided to produce and market his own champagnes, a rarity at a time when most winegrowers still sold their grapes to négociants.
Since then, the company has continued to evolve while remaining true to its heritage. After the Second World War, Bernard Tassin played a key role in revitalizing the vineyards, while perfecting the art of winemaking. His know-how was passed on to subsequent generations, until the arrival of Thibault Tassin in 2015. Keen to perpetuate traditions while adding a touch of modernity, Thibault has developed new initiatives, such as creating a tasting area within the historic cellars and opening the house to international export. Thibault Tassin produces natural champagnes using traditional methods, with few or no inputs. This artisanal approach preserves the authenticity of the grapes and highlights the purity of the Côte des Bar terroirs.
The domaine distinguishes itself by producing elegant champagnes from unique terroirs that have been cultivated with passion for centuries. With a deep respect for ancestral techniques, Thibault continues to make the house's reputation shine, maintaining an artisanal approach while adapting to the challenges of the modern marketplace.
