Domaine de la Grand'Cour

The Dutraive Family embodies the soul of natural Beaujolais with passion and authenticity. At the head of the Domaine de la Grand'Cour in Fleurie since 1989 , Jean-Louis Dutraive has established himself as a reference in Gamay by cultivating his vines organically and favoring winemaking without additives . In 2016, after devastating episodes of hail, Jean-Louis and his children Ophélie, Justin and Lucas launched the Famille Dutraive project. This initiative allows the selection of grapes from vineyards cultivated with the same high standards, while maintaining a natural and low-intervention approach in the cellar. The vintages, such as the Beaujolais-Villages Lantignié, the Chénas " Les Perelles " or the Fleurie "Les Déduits", reveal all the finesse and energy of Gamay, sublimated by carbonic maceration fermentations and aging in concrete vats or barrels. With its vibrant, pure and delicious wines, the Dutraive family perpetuates a tradition of lively and sincere wines , true reflections of the great terroirs of Beaujolais.
