Serge & Olivier Horiot

Biodynamic artisan in Riceys

Olivier Horiot is a talented winemaker from the Côte des Bar. Based in the wine-growing village of Les Riceys, he practices living, biodynamic viticulture.

Olivier grew up in the region and now farms over 8 hectares of vineyards biodynamically, certified by Biodyvin. At this dedicated artisan’s estate, you’ll of course find Rosé des Riceys as well as numerous other Coteaux Champenois, each vinified according to its specific locality. These wines reflect the liveliness and aromatic finesse of Northern Pinot Noir, once widely produced in the area.

Micro-cuvées, experimental wines and still bottlings

Sparkling wines are not forgotten, as seen in Sève, which showcases the generosity of this single-village cuvée from the Aube. Olivier is constantly experimenting—with micro-cuvées, forgotten grape varieties, and still wines...

His reputation is rapidly growing, and deservedly so—everything at the estate is both delicious and thoughtfully crafted.
