Domaine Lapilli
A young estate rooted in volcanic lands
Domaine Lapilli , run by Elsa and Géraud, is located in Auvergne , more precisely in Authezat. Founded in 2023, the estate covers 5 hectares of vines spread over five distinct plots, notably on the Puy de Marmant and Puy de Tobize, as well as in the Corent Nord and Sud zones. The grape varieties cultivated include Gamay, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, planted on clay-limestone soils rich in volcanic elements.
Respectful viticulture and wines without artifice
The estate practices environmentally friendly viticulture, using organic methods and biodynamic experiments. The wines are produced with minimal intervention, without fining or filtration, except when absolutely necessary, where a minimal dose of sulfur is used to ensure the wines' purity.
An approach formed in the field, rooted in life
A duo formed between studies and experiences
Elsa and Géraud trained in oenology and gained experience in various wineries in France before settling in Auvergne. Their approach emphasizes the use of indigenous yeasts and natural winemaking , aiming to reveal the potential of the region's volcanic terroirs.
