Benoit Delorme
Atypical Burgundy winemaker committed to natural wine
Benoit Delorme is an atypical winemaker who settled in Burgundy, in Côte Chalonnaise, after having acquired experience in various wine-growing regions, notably in Alsace, Beaujolais, Catalonia and California.
Since 2015, he has been making his own wines, focusing mainly on a Chardonnay called "Cyprineart" and a Pinot Noir called "Orga(ni)sme Cult(ur)e(l).".
Singular cuvées that express their terroir
“Cyprineart” is a pure Chardonnay with salty notes, citrus nuances and touches of white flowers, reflecting the terroir of Southern Burgundy. It is characterized by its purity on the palate, skillfully balancing acidity and sapidity, providing a lively and stimulating tasting experience. On the other hand, "Orga(ni)sme Cult(ur)e(l)" is an atypical Pinot Noir, spicy, fresh and lively.
A committed philosophy and clear choices
Benoit Delorme has had an atypical career path. He has completed training in biology, viticulture and oenology as well as travel and experiences in different vineyards such as California, Alsace or even Mâconnais and its close Beaujolais. And despite sometimes a little tumultuous beginnings, Benoit Delorme ended up finding his way by renting vines so he could work the grapes as he saw fit while continuing to work hand in hand with winegrowers who worked in organic farming.
Lively, committed wines, right down to the label
Its commitment to natural wines is supported by its original bottle labels, using puns and distinctive typography, as well as revolutionary references. He considers wine as a living organism and values the pleasure of tasting above all else. With a modest production, Benoit Delorme claims his passion for natural wines and remains determined to continue his path as an AB certified winemaker.
