Rhum
Craft Rum: Between Power, Smoothness and Tradition
A travelling spirit with many faces
Rhum, an emblematic spirit, has its origins in the Caribbean and has spread to regions such as France. Made from sugar cane or molasses, it comes in several varieties : white rhum, fresh and light, amber rhum, with woody notes due to aging, old rhum, rich and complex, and rhum agricole, made from fresh cane juice. Spiced rhum, meanwhile, adds a bold touch, perfect for cocktails.
Tropical terroirs and island elegance
Regions such as Martinique and Guadeloupe are renowned for their quality rhum agricole, while Reunion offers molasses rhums with rich aromas. Jamaica is known for its powerful rhums, and Brazilian cachaça, appreciated for its sweetness, completes the panorama. Every sip of rhum tells a story, celebrating a unique heritage and craftsmanship.
