In the heart of the picturesque village of Pommard, brothers Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis continue the family tradition and passion for wine with the founding of Chapuis Frères in 2009. Descended from a line of Aloxe-Corton winemakers, they combine their skills and love of the terroir to create exceptional wines.

In their quest for excellence, the Chapuis brothers travel through Burgundy's most prestigious appellations, from Chorey-lès-Beaune to Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune, via Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses, Saint-Romain, Volnay, Rully and Mercurey. Their ambitious vision is a dream come true, offering a captivating range of wines for connoisseurs.

Aware of the challenges of acquiring vines in a region as coveted as Burgundy, the Chapuis brothers focus on the meticulous selection of the best terroirs and dedicated winemakers. Each parcel is carefully scrutinized, from health and soil conditions to exposure, age and variety of vines, guaranteeing irreproachable grape quality.

Winemaking is the soul of their estate, where softness and finesse prevail over excessive extractions. With international experience as a "Flying Wine Maker" and an in-depth apprenticeship with Philippe Pacalet, renowned for his commitment to natural wines, Romain brings invaluable expertise to the winery.
