Domaine de Mandelot

Domaine de Mandelot is located in the small village of Mandelot, in the heart of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune in Burgundy. This brand-new domaine is run by François Grangé, an experienced winemaker who previously worked as vineyard manager at Chandon de Briailles. The domaine covers 10 hectares of vines, all organically grown. Some plots are even treated without sulfur, using natural methods such as the application of milk to combat powdery mildew. In 2023, for their first vintage, around 7 hectares were vinified. The domaine practices natural vinification without the addition of sulfites, with regular barrel tastings to guarantee the quality of the cuvées. Main grape varieties include Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Aligoté and Pinot Noir. Domaine de Mandelot produces elegant red, white and maceration wines, each expressing a true parcel logic.
