Champagne Elise Godin
Élise Godin is a young Champagne winemaker who has taken over the family vineyards at Fontaine-sur-Aÿ, in the Grande Vallée de la Marne. Previously, the grapes were sold, but Élise decided to vinify them herself. The estate benefits from terroirs rich in chalk and limestone soils, giving the cuvées minerality and finesse. Her viticulture is respectful of the environment, with meticulous vinification in stainless steel tanks and prolonged aging on lees, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve the essence of her Chardonnays.
The estate's first Champagne is distinguished by its complexity and elegance, expressing notes of white fruit and flowers, enhanced by a subtle salinity due to the terroir. This first wine, produced in small quantities, reveals the singularity of each vintage and bears witness to the winemaker's artisanal know-how, between innovation and respect for Champagne traditions. An ideal Champagne for lovers of fine natural champagnes, balanced and marked by the identity of their terroir of origin.
