Olivier Seguin

Since the middle of the 19th century, Domaine des Sens has been perpetuating its know-how for three generations. Situated between hills and river, the Chenevières farm embodies the authenticity of a Charentais farm, with its characteristic porch and ancestral distillery. In the 90s, Olivier's father Jean-Paul Seguin took the bold decision to switch to organic farming. This awareness of the need to protect the environment and consumer health marked a turning point in the history of the Chenevières farm.

Today, Olivier Seguin is continuing the work begun by his father, with the aim of adding value to his products via short distribution channels, thus promoting local consumption and the local economy. The 15 hectares of vines are planted with a variety of grape varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc and Gris, Colombard, Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah. At the same time, Olivier also cultivates 14 hectares of land dedicated to cereal crops, including wheat and rye for flour production for the cooperative, special corn for popcorn, and sunflower for direct marketing of oil. This diversification of crops bears witness to the Seguin family's commitment to responsible, environmentally-friendly agriculture.
