Hélène Charbaut

Hélène Charbaut embodies a new generation of winemakers in Champagne , combining family heritage and a demanding plot-by-plot approach. Coming from the Champagne Guy Charbaut house , she settled in Bisseuil (Premier Cru, Vallée de la Marne) and has been creating her own vintages since 2020. After an experience in Burgundy , notably at Bouchard Père & Fils , she returned to Champagne with a precise vision: to reveal the identity of each terroir through highly expressive champagnes. Her work is based on an artisanal approach, with vinification in oak barrels , without fining or filtration, and minimal intervention. It produces three single-plot cuvées: La Crayère (100% Chardonnay from old vines on chalky soils, combining finesse and tension), La Pirouette (100% Pinot Noir , ample and structured, revealing the power of the Bisseuil terroir ) and La Meunière (100% Meunier , a pure and elegant expression of this often overlooked grape variety). Each champagne reflects the unique character of its origin, with remarkable precision and depth.
