Champagne Mouzon-Leroux
Sébastien Mouzon-Leroux took over the family estate in 2008. He manages 8 hectares of vines spread over around sixty plots in Verzy. The estate has been practicing sustainable viticulture since 1997 and switched to biodynamic agriculture in 2008 under the leadership of Sébastien. This development is accompanied by agroforestry and the introduction of animals for grazing in winter.
In the cellar, vinification takes place as naturally as possible, then the wines are aged on lees for several months. After drawing, they remain on slats for between 3 and 5 years. It is thanks to this approach that Sébastien Mouzon manages to perfectly reflect the taste of the clay-limestone terroir of Verzy.
