Maison A&S

Pierre-Alexandre Soltana and Alexandre Soares founded a negoce in 2018 focused on buying high-quality grapes from Burgundy. Their approach emphasizes the production of organic wines, with minimal use of inputs, sulfur, and long aging in oak barrels, favoring the use of previously used oak barrels. The grapes are carefully sorted and harvested by hand in 5 kg crates to preserve the berries. Vinification is sulfur-free, with foot treading and gentle extraction, using indigenous yeasts. Burgundy's three main grape varieties - Chardonnay, Aligoté and Pinot Noir - are promoted in regional appellations and a few villages. Although relatively newcomers to the Burgundy wine scene, Pierre-Alexandre Soltana and Alexandre Soares have rapidly gained notoriety for the exceptional quality of their wines. Their approach is based on trusting relationships with plot owners, and they remain faithful to Burgundy tradition while creating distinctive micro-cuvées. Their commitment to quality wines is reflected in the cuvées they produce, ranging from regional appellations such as Bourgogne Chardonnay and Bourgogne Aligoté to villages such as Maranges rouge. The whites are distinguished by their balance, finesse and delicacy, while the reds are characterized by their crispness, juiciness and the elegance of the Pinot Noir's pure, intense red and black fruit. This estate has already won over many wine lovers and continues to gain in reputation, notably with the recent acquisition of its first vineyard in Hautes Côtes de Beaune.
