Stéphane Tissot
Domaine André et Mireille Tissot, run by Bénédicte and Stéphane Tissot, is an essential reference in the Jura vineyard. Located in Montigny-lès-Arsures, near Arbois, this family estate covers 43 hectares certified in organic and biodynamic agriculture . The vineyard highlights the emblematic grape varieties of the Jura : Chardonnay and Savagnin for the whites, as well as Trousseau, Poulsard and Pinot Noir for the reds. The flagship plots, such as Les Bruyères, La Mailloche, En Barberon and Clos de la Tour de Curon, are vinified separately to express the richness and diversity of the terroirs. The philosophy of the estate is based on environmentally friendly viticulture, without the use of chemicals, thus promoting biodiversity. In the cellar, fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts and the use of sulfur is minimized, allowing the wines to faithfully reflect their terroir. This quest for authenticity and quality is reflected in the production of 28 different vintages , each illustrating the specificity of its origin. The estate excels in the production of still and sparkling wines and the famous Vin Jaune , offering enthusiasts a rich and varied palette of typical Jura flavors.
