Antoine Lienhardt
Antoine Lienhardt represents the fourth generation of winegrowers in the family, and he took over the family estate in 2011. With his sister Héloïse, they are based in Comblanchien, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. Together, they have been running their vineyard in organic farming since 2016. Antoine pays attention to environmental imperatives and favors ecological solutions in his field, he applies some biodynamic practices after discovering a passion for natural wines following a tasting in 2011 .
Antoine Lienhardt also plants several trees per year around his plots and in his orchards. Sorry for the lack of trees on the Coast, he absolutely wants to promote biodiversity in and around his vines. Since 2020, the estate has been sowing a plant cover composed of clover, wheat, peas and Chinese radishes.
Antoine produces wines without inputs, but with a lot of know-how.
Its red wines are generally made from whole grapes, the vinification is relatively short and takes place in stainless steel vats. They then go to the barrel cellar for a minimum of a year before bottling, while the whites take longer, in large wooden containers. Antoine Lienhardt also experiments with other types of containers such as concrete eggs and stoneware jars.
Antoine offers numerous plots in the Côtes de Nuits as well as some very pretty vintages in Nuits Saint-Georges, Volnay and even a Clos Vougeot…
