Jeremy Recchione
Jérémy Recchione is part of this new talented generation of Burgundian winegrowers. In 2010, he discovered Burgundy and began working with Pierre Naigeon. It was only in 2013 that he began buying grapes from winegrower friends and making them into wine. He will continue, year after year, to learn, to progress, to work hard. In 2019, he was finally able to create his own estate following the acquisition of a plot of Aligoté in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits.
Jérémy sums up his way of conceiving wine very well:
“The philosophy of the estate is above all to respect nature and what it leaves available to us. We work the vines as healthily as possible. The wines are then vinified naturally. We sort in the vineyard and harvest in small 5 kilo boxes, which allows us to protect the grapes as much as possible and not to alter them. We exclusively use natural yeasts for fermentations. We don't add anything. The use of sulfur is zero or reduced to its maximum. Through our wines, we simply want to bring pleasure and convey emotion. »
Jérémy's wines attract, vintage after vintage, the most curious palates of Burgundy, and he begins to seriously make a name for himself. Today he works in new climates such as the 1er Cru Reyssié in Pouilly, the 1er Cru Les Lavières in Savigny or the 1er Cru en Caradeux in Pernand-Vergelesses. A young talent to follow urgently…
