Benoît Munier

Benoit Munier is at the head of a family estate in Champagne covering 1.6 hectares, spread over the prestigious Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Avize, Oger, Chouilly and Bouzy. The family story began in the 1930s, when Benoit's great-grandfather, Constant Gendron, made the bold choice to plant Chardonnay in Bouzy, known for its Pinot Noir. Since the late 1990s, Benoit has been committed to transforming the family business from a grape-selling operation into a Champagne house renowned for its innovative, environmentally-friendly viticultural practices. Together with his wife Séverine, they are developing a range of authentic, high-quality wines, using natural winemaking methods without excessive intervention. The estate produces around 7,000 bottles a year, sold in France, Europe and the United States, reflecting the passion and know-how handed down from generation to generation. Benoit Munier continues to invest in sustainable, respectful viticulture, faithful to his family's heritage.
