Champagne Arthur Lelièvre
Domaine Arthur Lelièvre is a young Champagne house founded in 2021, but which benefits from the experience and know-how of several generations. Set on a unique terroir around the Montagne de Reims, this 10-hectare estate stands out for its commitment to sustainable viticulture. Since returning to the family land in 2014, Arthur Lelièvre has undertaken a major transformation, eliminating herbicides and adopting environmentally-friendly practices. The estate's vines are spread mainly in the Ludes cru, an area historically renowned for its Pinot Meunier, but also in the neighboring villages of Taissy and Largery. The cooler, north-facing climate of these parcels favors slow, balanced ripening of the grapes, an invaluable asset in the face of climate change. Domaine Arthur Lelièvre champagnes are produced with respect for the terroir, using traditional methods such as fermentation on indigenous yeasts and ageing in oak barrels of various sizes. This approach preserves freshness, minerality and purity of aroma, while offering elegant wines full of finesse. With cuvées based on Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, the estate embodies the richness of the Montagne de Reims terroir, while emphasizing sustainability and authenticity.
