Our meeting with Patrick Desplats, a legendary name from Anjou, was more than memorable. Patrick Desplats first co-founded Domaine des Griottes in 2001. Since 2011, Patrick has taken the reins alone, and his estate is nestled in the heart of the charming town of Saint Lambert Du Lattay. With 9 hectares of vines stretching along the region's most prestigious appellations, Patrick clearly embodies the passion for natural wines.

Patrick Desplats cultivates the typical grape varieties of the region, such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chenin, he makes it a point of honor to respect the soil and biodiversity.
