Grange 476
A committed farm-winery in the heart of the Côtes du Jura
A passionate and complementary transition
La Grange 476 is located in Menétru-le-Vignoble, in the heart of the Côtes du Jura. The estate, founded in 2019 by Dimitri Vetois and Marion Valverde, covers almost 4 hectares and is the fruit of a shared passion for viticulture. Dimitri, after obtaining a BTS in Viti-Oeno, enriched his experience in various vineyards, from France to New Zealand, while Marion left her career as a nurse to train in equine traction, thus integrating this respectful approach to agriculture.
Organic and biodynamic viticulture
Working with horses and biodiversity as foundations
As soon as they arrived, they converted their vineyards to organic farming, adopting biodynamic practices to promote healthy soils and vines. Grape varieties grown include Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard, and Pinot Noir. Their method of working the vines on horseback, using Comtois draught horses, underlines their commitment to a deep respect for the land and biodiversity.
Parcel-based vinification shaped by patience
Extended aging for balanced and pure wines
Their winemaking philosophy focuses on patience and tranquility, allowing the wines to blossom and express the region's unique micro-terroirs. Grange 476 stands out for its natural wines, crafted parcel by parcel, with extended maturation times to guarantee balance and purity.
A sustainable approach for body and mind
The aim is to produce wines that are good for the body and the spirit, as part of a sustainable and respectful approach.
