Mas Del Perie

Mas del Périé , founded in 2006 by Fabien Jouves , is a wine estate located on the highest slopes of Cahors , in the heart of Quercy . Coming from an old farming family of the Causse, Fabien Jouves represents the fifth generation of winemakers and chose to convert the estate to biodynamics, obtaining AB certification in 2009 and Demeter in 2011. The estate's flagship grape variety is Malbec (Côt), grown on plots selected to express the different facets of this grape. The vines, planted at an altitude of 350 meters , benefit from varied soils, including Kimmeridgian limestone , Miocene brown marl and ferruginous limestone, giving the wines a unique minerality and complexity. Vinification is carried out naturally, without oenological inputs, with fermentations in concrete vats, tuns, barrels or amphorae, according to the personality of each vintage. This approach aims to respect life, the plant, man and his environment, producing unique , precise , natural and fruity wines. Mas del Périé also offers immersive wine tourism experiences, allowing visitors to discover the Cadurcian terroir and the know-how of the estate. A Tiny House is available for rent, offering a breathtaking view of the vineyards and the surrounding valley, for a rejuvenating stay in the heart of the vines.
