Dard et Ribo
Imagine yourself in the northern Rhône Valley, in Mercurol, where a cult duo has been operating since the mid-80s: René-Jean Dard and François Ribo. Their estate is a treasure trove, nestled in the heart of three prestigious appellations: Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage and Hermitage. And when we say exceptional terroir, we mean it... Vines planted on granite between Mauves and Tournon, in Saint-Jean de Muzols, and even a few acres of Hermitage, not to mention the superb Crozes-Hermitage terroirs on the hills of Larnage and Crozes-Hermitage. Over the years, the domaine has established itself as a true benchmark for wine connoisseurs, offering totally different wines that make you forget all about the region's ordinary cuvées. Their approach? Chemical-free production, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. With each cuvée, the emphasis is on fruit brightness, finesse, subtlety, and light, caressing substance. In other words, their red wines are already nuggets when young, and can withstand many years of cellaring. And after tasting them, it's hard not to be seduced by their white wines. Freshness and vivacity are the order of the day, enough to charm even the most demanding of Rhone white wine lovers...!
