David Léclapart
David Léclapart was one of the first winegrowers in Champagne to take an interest in biodynamic viticulture, back in the late 1990s. His know-how has inspired many young winegrowers. In 1996, he began converting his 3 hectares of vines to organic farming. From then on, he produced champagnes with elegance, finesse and perfectly silky bubbles. Now biodynamic, but no longer certified, David Léclapart makes champagnes from a single vintage, unfined, which are a fine representation of his Trépail terroir. His different cuvées, with their exemplary sapidity, are wines made to be kept! Since 2020, Martin, his son, has been working with him to pass on the family tradition.
