Angèle Leprat
Angèle Leprat worked at Clos du Tue Boeuf, an emblematic estate for natural wine in Touraine. Originally from Sologne, she came to Burgundy late in life to put her passion for horses at the service of the vineyard. It thus carries out tillage services on behalf of Château de Pommard, a biodynamic estate. It was for the 2021 vintage that she recovered some leased vines, a little Aligoté and Pinot Noir. Obviously, its vines are worked with horses, the harvest is done manually and the vinification is sulfur-free. The 2021 vintage was very difficult for many winegrowers in Burgundy and elsewhere, Angèle Leprat is no exception... Only 1,500 bottles made in 2021, which natural wine lovers did not take long to spot.
