Domaine de la Réaltière
Domaine de la Réaltière, nestled in Provence at an altitude of 450 metres, has been run by the Michelland family since 1994. Jean-Louis Michelland, who initiated organic viticulture as soon as he arrived, passed the estate on to his son Pierre in 2001. Ten years later, in 2011, Pierre converted the vineyard to biodynamic viticulture. With its 13 hectares of vines, the estate benefits from an exceptional terroir of clay-limestone soil and south-facing exposure. This unique setting, between olive, oak and pine trees, benefits from a contrasting microclimate, hot in summer and cold in winter. Hand-picked, the grapes are carefully selected and then vinified naturally, with indigenous yeasts and no added inputs.
