Clément Piconnet
Agathe and Clément met at lycée. They worked their way up and down the vineyard, before setting up the CH Piconnet estate in 2014. CH? The initials refer to Charles, Clément's grandfather and the founder of the estate. It was he who cleared the land and planted the entire 7.5 hectares of vines that make up the estate with Hubert (his son).
The estate produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and... Pinot Blanc! The estate's ambition: to produce a Champagne wine from healthy grapes. They now produce 5,000 bottles a year.
Clément is also the brother of Raphaël Piconnet, from Domaine de Bichery.
